Helena A. King, 77, of Jeannette died Friday November 4, 2022 in UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh. She was born August 2, 1945 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and May Jane (Overly) Sleppi. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond T. King and sister Mary Rae Sleppi. She was retired from the Medicine Shoppe where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech and was a devoted homemaker enjoying cooking for anyone that walked in the door, cleaning, oil painting, drinking her coffee as well as trips to the casino and annual trips to Ocean City, MD with her family. Surviving are her loving daughters Mary "Cherie" King of Jeannette, Stacey Zamborsky of Jeannette and Carey Goertzen and her husband Pete of Las Vegas; granddaughter Chelsea Zamborsky;her "extra kid" Chad Krawtz; special friend Charlotte Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance with Helena's wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at Johnnys Wifes Place Harrsion Ave. Jeannette on Monday November 7th at 3PM. The family wishes to thank the ICU and staff of UPMC Mercy Hospital for the care given during her stay. She was a light to everyone that knew her and will be missed dearly.
