James Clark II Obituary

James “Jim” Clark beloved father, friend, and lifelong Steelers fan  of Penn, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Jeannette, PA, Jim attended Norwin High School and went on to spend most of his life in the Penn community, where he built a life full of laughter, loyalty, and lasting friendships.  Jim worked as a dedicated Boiler Engineer in the Maintenance Department at Seton Hill University. Known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature, he brought not only skill but warmth and humor to the workplace.  Above all, Jim was a devoted father to his children, Dylan (Kyra)and Dallys (Mason), who carry forward his humor, heart, and love of life. Though Jim was the youngest of three, he was the protector of his two older sisters, Angie Souarit (Sonny) and Robin Lender. He was also a loyal friend-none more cherished than his longtime buddy Ryan Ebbitt-with whom he shared countless evenings of karaoke, pool, storytelling, and a cold Mickey’s in hand.  Jim had a special talent for making people laugh. Whether through his well-timed jokes, playful antics, or simply his presence, he had a gift for brightening the lives of those around him. He lived with a passion for connection, joy, and the Pittsburgh Steelers-often sharing fond memories while dreaming of visiting the NFL Hall of Fame with his family again.  Jim’s warmth, wit, and unwavering love for his people leave behind a legacy that will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.  Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Thursday from 1-3PM and 5PM till time of a celebration of Jim’s life at 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sage’s Army.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
