Jeffrey M. Detore

Jeffrey M. Detore, 41, of Twin Rocks, formerly of Jeannette, died Saturday, July 31, 2021 in a car crash.  He was born, October 20, 1979 in Greensburg, a son of Michael and Donna Johnson Detore of Greensburg.  He loved sports, especially the Pirates, Penguins and Buffalo Bills.  He was a member of the Greensburg Sportsmen's Association and loved to hunt deer and bear with many friends.   In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jennifer Bilott and husband Jim of Hunker, Aunt Beverly King of New Alexandria, Uncle Barry Johnson and wife Nancy of Jeannette, and Uncle Rennie Detore and wife Carm of Greensburg. Friends will be received 2:00 pm - 4:00pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, 504 Cowan Avenue, Jeannette.  Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.
