Joel A. Macias

 Joel A. Macias, 28, of Jeannette died Saturday June 11,2022 in Palm Spring CA while fulfilling his dream of working in sports marketing. He was born June 3,1994 in Morgantown WV a son of Juan (Tammy) Macias who was his best friend and Lynn (Gregory Tafelski) Phillips. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Ruth Phillips and paternal grandfather Antonio Macias and sister Rachel Macias. Joel was a graduate of Licking Heights High School in Pataskala, Ohio and was currently working as a marketing intern for Power Baseball in Palm Springs. He was a member of Charter Oak Church, Jeannette. In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings Megan Macias and Juan Macias Jr. (Kristi) all of Jeannette; step siblings Seth Miller (Samantha) of Saltsburg and Logan Miller,  of Jeannette, Grandma Jo of WI, nieces and nephews Alex, Isabella, Lili, Xavier, Landyn, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday June 24th from 2PM the time of service at 7PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
