John H. Baker

John H. Baker, 84, of Jeannette went to be with our Lord on Saturday December 25,2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born August 9,1937 in Greensburg, a son of the late John Harry and Sara Louise (Palmer) Baker. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Betty (Linderman) Baker and  a sister Louella Crystaloski. Prior to retirement he worked as a glass grinder at Westmoreland Glass and St. George Crystal. John was the loving father of his children Judy Buskirk and husband Jim of Greensburg, Susan Bair and husband Bill of Greensburg, John Baker and wife Maryanne of Greensburg, Gerald Baker of Jeannette and Gary Baker and wife Jennifer of Yukon; grandfather of Brenda (Kory), Sharon (Sean), John, Christina, Sarah and William; great grandfather to Brayden, Austin, Breccon, Tyler, Jameson, Lincoln, and Memphis and a sister Betty Austin of Saltsburg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Pa 15644. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11am with Pastor Victor Koshir. Interment will follow at Jeannette Memorial Park.
