Josephine V. (Hines) Ankney

Josephine V. (Hines) Ankney- 84 of New Stanton, PA passed away peacefully Saturday January 7, 2023 surrounded by family.  She was born June 13, 1938 in Harrison City, PA a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Brinton) Hines.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Regis J. Ankney and multiple brothers and sisters.  Jo is survived by her significant other Raymond Rupp of Greensburg, her three children Ronald Ankney of FL, Terri Robison of SC and Pamela Bassetti of SC, one grandchild Nikki Cunningham Esteppe and husband Joshua, one great grandchild Reagen Esteppe and two sisters Lois Dungy and Louise Robinson.  Jo had retired from the Tribune Review and enjoyed her job in Real Estate advertising.  We would like to express a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Agape Hospice and the special care from Debbie Kintigh, Sharon Evans and Tonya House.  As years of our lives unfold we are confident knowing she will always be watching over us all.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Elizabeth Seton Center for the Aging 129 DePaul Center Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601.  Friends and family will be received Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev.
