Judy Gay Stevenson, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1948, in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
Judy devoted her life to her family as a loving mother and homemaker. She found her greatest purpose in creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Her children always knew they had someone they could depend on, someone who put their needs before her own and loved them without hesitation. In addition to caring for her family, Judy had a creative spirit. She loved making crafts and had a special talent for home decorating and interior design. She took pride in making every home she lived in feel welcoming, beautiful, and full of love. Her creativity and caring nature reflected who she was and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Judy is survived by her children, Michael Stevenson, Kenneth Stevenson, and Chanda Stevenson; and by her brother, Danny Ward. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory and the many lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. Judy's greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are forever grateful for the years we shared with her. Your love lifted us, guided us, and gave us strength through every season of life. Mom, you will always be the wind beneath our wings. Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts. Services and interment were private.
