Karen Crowell Obituary

Karen Juanita Crowell 76 of Greensburg died Tuesday December 17, 2024 at home.  She was born April 4, 1948 in Greensburg a daughter of the late John H. "Showboat" and Julia (McNeil) Crowell.  Prior to retirement she was employed by PPG Industries and she was a member of the Greensburg/Jeannette chapter of the NAACP and Hopewell Baptist Church, Jeannette.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Brian Wilson and a brother Clarence Robinson.  She is survived by her daughter Andreja Wilson, a sister Denise Ruffin and her husband Harvey Jr., two sisters in law Delores Robinson and Alesia Wilson, a step son Brian McFarland, three step grandchildren, an uncle Benjamin Crowell, two aunts Thelma Rowe and Hollen Crowell and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family  suggests memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
