Karin Haile Obituary

Karin E. Haile, 73, of Jeannette died Saturday December 8,2018 in William Penn Care Center. She was born April 17, 1945 in Stockholm Sweden a daughter of the late Erik B. and J. Maria Hellberg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Haile, Jr. and son Bjorn Eric Haile. Karin's joy in life was to take care of others. She was a member of the Jeannette Salvation Army and the Jeannette American Legion Post #344 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Chaplin. She is survived by a son Walter Haile III and wife Kim and their children Octavia, Olivia, Orion and Richard Hice of Manor; daughter Michelle Cunningham and her children Daniel, Liam and Marley of Pittsburgh; a brother Bjorn Hellberg of Sweden; sister in law Kathy Haile of Georgia and brother in law David Haile of Las Vegas and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Pa 15644. A service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11am with Larry Coltura. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park. To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
