Leo Williams

Leo Williams 99 of Jeannette died Thursday August 28, 2025 in RNC of Greater Pittsburgh.  He was born March 19, 1926 in Pearson, GA a son of the late Gethro and Viola Williams.  Prior to retirement he was employed by General Tire and he was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy on the USS Haven.  He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and did maintenance work.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Laudia (Cooper) Williams, brothers Willie, Woodrow, Johnny and Theodore and sisters, Eula, Jesse, Grace and Ophelia.  He is survived by his daughter Ann Frye, two grandchildren Deanna Shannon and Jeremy Frye (Melissa), six great grandchildren LaResa Shannon, Davonte Shannon, Daizha Kozinko, Alexia Sensenich, Jace Frye and Ezra Jones, his Goddaughter Christine Graves Vincent and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Friends will be received Friday September 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Additional viewing will be Saturday September 6 in Hopewell Baptist Church 436 Chestnut St. Jeannette from 10:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev.
