Louisa Mae (Hummel) Burgun

Louisa Mae Burgun, 82, of Jeannette died Tuesday November 7,2023 in AHN Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born May 23,1941 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Harry W. and Louise Katherine (Twaddle) Hummel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William K. Burgun, a brother Harry R. Hummel, brother in law Kenneth J. Burgun, son in law Robert M. Krawtz and nephew Jonathan Eric Hummel. Louisa was a member of the Norwin Art League who loved music and to paint. She was an avid reader who had a passion for animals and loved to shop. Surviving are her children William Louis Burgun of Tucson, AZ, Sherran Krawtz of Meadville, Cynthia Pinkerton and husband Paul of N. Huntingdon and Susan Laskey and husband Christopher of Greensburg; a brother James E. Hummel and wife Haruko of San Jose, CA; sister in law Lynda Burgun of Jeannette; grandson David; numerous nieces and nephews including Jamie DePew and husband Michael, Cheryl Lopiccollo and husband Mike, Harry R. Hummel, Katherine Hummel and husband Peter Ketas; special friends Monster, Twiggy, Rocky and Pepper. A funeral service will be held on Friday November 10th at 11am in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
