Marcella H. "Lully" Marquis, 90, of Jeannette, went home to be with the Lord on Valentines Day in St. Annes Home, Greensburg, indicating just how loved she truly was. Lully was a kind,sweet, loving woman of great faith. She was born May 29,1934 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Peter and Marcella (Brecht) Krupp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Nicholas, a sister Mary Margaret Krivoniak and her former husband James. Marcella was a member of Sacred Heart Church and its rosary altar society. Previously she worked as a receptionist at Dr. Jack Penhalls office, and loved working at the Dairy Queen. Surviving is her son Jim (Linda); daughter Marcy Schiavone (Joe); a daughter in law Debbie Marquis; brothers Pete Krupp (Virginia) and Fred Krupp (Bunny); sister Louise Masciantonio; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 16th from 1-5PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St Jeannette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette at 10am on Monday February 17th with Fr. Job Foote. Interment will follow at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. The family wishes to thank St. Annes (Sr. Amala, Sr. Rose, and Sr. Joicy) and Heartland for the exceptional care of their mother.
