Marie G. (Newman) Lynch

Marie G. Lynch, 86, of Jeannette went to be with the Lord Thursday June 19th 2025 in Independence Health, Westmoreland. She was born June 1,1939 in Blairsville, a daughter of the late Leslie and Helen (Crusan) Newman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jim Lynch and sister and brother in law Helen and Robert Ferist. Marie was a woman of God who enjoyed going to many churches. She was a driver for Christian piano player Larry Alburn and served as a counselor of prayer on Channel 40. A 1957 graduate of Trafford High School, she worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Monsour and owned Ja-Mar ceramics. Surviving are her sons Cliff Horne and his wife Carla of Greensburg and James Lynch of Jeannette; daughter in law Julie Lynch of CO, grandchildren Dahlia, Christopher, Nattalee and Nickole; 3 great grandchildren and a special friend and caretaker Amanda Sowa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 24th from 5PM until the time of service at 7PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
