Mary Anne (Chishko) Lash

Mary Ann (Chishko) Lash 79 of Latrobe passed away Friday August 16, 2024 in Westmoreland Manor.  She was born February 21, 1945 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Elmer and Ann (Rizzardi) Chishko.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Nelson O. Lash and her daughter Michele Smail.  She is survived by a brother Elmer Chishko (Gail) of Cortland, OH, her grandchildren Joshua Barton (Shannon) of Greensburg, Anthony Barton (Tiara) of Jeannette and Crystal Bohonis of Kentucky, three step daughters Mechelle Hutchinson (Chris), Melinda Wolfe (Clarence) and Melissa McGrew (Bill) and twenty five great grandchildren.  Prior to retirement she was employed as a bus driver for the Hempfield Township School District.  She was a member and served as secretary for Charter Oak Church for five years and she was formerly a glass decorator for Westmoreland Glass before they closed in 1983.  A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in Charter Oak Church 449 Fry Farm Rd.
