Mary (Hohman) Stickle

Mary Stickle, 87, of Jeannette died Thursday November 3, 2022 in Kellys Personal Care Home, Greensburg. She was born January 17, 1935 in Hempfield Twp., a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Marie (Havranek) Hohman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Anton Stickle; brothers Fred, William, Daniel, Frank and Bob Hohman; sisters Catherine Kaylor, Blanche Thomas and Myrtle Smartnick; Grandson Roger Marsolo and son in law Hillary Rackoff. Mary worked for Jeannette Glass as a laborer and was a member of Harold Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, canning, baking and gambling. Surviving are her children Mary Rackoff of West Palm Beach FL, Shari Marsolo & Roger of Jeannette, Roberta Sistek & Jeff of Greensburg, Toni Sears & Scott of Jeannette, Joe Stickle & Debbie of Jeannette, Bob Stickle & Rachel of N. Huntingdon, Cary Cramer & Gene of Greensburg; grandchildren Shawn, Steven, Mark, Leon, Samantha, Zack, Katie, Scotty & Elania, Ainsleigh and Antonia; great grandchildren Rebecca, Olivia, Amelia and Elliott; sisters Clara Clark of S. Carolina and Margaret Swartz & Jack of Mt. Pleasant; sisters in law Josephine, Pat and Carol and a brother in law Richard Smartnick and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 6th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, INC. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am in the funeral home with Emily Hill. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
