Matthew E. Kowalski

Matthew E. Kowalski, 37, of Jeannette died Friday, January 1, 2021 in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born, October 6, 1983 in Latrobe, a son of Edward and Deborah Lander Kowalski of Jeannette.  He was self employed in construction  and was a member of the Polish Club of Jeannette.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ronald and Carol Lander, paternal grandparents, Stanley J. and Joanne Kowalski and two uncles, David J. Kowalski and Ronald R. Lander.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Michael Kowalski and his wife Madison of Hempfield Twp., an uncle, Thomas J. Kowalski of Penn Twp., two nieces and a nephew whom he adored, Maison, Elliot and Teagan, two cousins, Meghan and Stephen Kowalski, and his girlfriend, Nicole Lang and her daughter Aislynn of Jeannette.  Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00pm Tuesday in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First Street, Jeannette.  Following the pandemic guidelines, face masks must be worn and a limited number of people will be allowed in the building at one time.  A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Nick Stephanovic officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.
