Melvina A. (Kew) Andree

Melvina A. Andree 99 of North Huntingdon formerly of Jeannette died Friday February 13, 2026 in Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon.  She was born August 18, 1926 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Edna (Ellig) Kew.  She was a lifelong member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Jeannette.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Andree and her son in law Dennis Slonecker.  She is survived by her two daughters Kathy Shirey (Dale) and Carol Slonecker, a granddaughter Renee Shirey and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Tuesday from Noon till time of service at 1:00 PM with Rev. Brenda Barnes officiating.  Private interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Shriners Hospital for Children-Erie 1645 W. 8th St. Erie PA 16505 or the Jeannette Salvation Army.
