Mildred E. (Tobias) Uranker

Mildred E. Uranker 82 of Jeannette died Sunday June 30, 2024 in Westmoreland Manor.  She was born September 12, 1941 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Robert Arthur and Josephine (Potocnik) Tobias.  Prior to retirement she was a Supervisor for Head Start and was a member of Living Word Congregational Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Uranker Jr., a great grandson Joshua Valimont and three sisters Shirley Harrold Romesburg, Florence Tobias and Dorothy Sesler.  She is survived by three children Cindy Flinn, Jerry Flinn (Wendy) and Vickie Valimont (Ed), five grandchildren Amanda, Jeremy, Julie, Amber and Braxton, five great grandchildren, a sister Barbara Cowell (Bob) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette Wednesday from 3PM till time of service at 6PM with Pastor Roy Aiken Jr. officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family would like to thank the staff of A4 at Westmoreland Manor and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
