Myrna Downes Obituary

Myrna L. Downes, 84, of Jeannette, died Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born June 30, 1935 in New Alexandria, a daughter of the late Howard and Nora Steele Pratt. She was a member of Hempfield Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd D. Downes, Sr., a son, Floyd Downes and siblings, Theora Stanko, Charles Pratt, Samuel Pratt, Thelma Seice, Arlene Schultz, Howart Pratt, and Lysle Pratt. She is survived by two children, Joseph Downes and his wife Radene and Judy Steiner and her husband John, all of Jeannette, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Elnora Bankosh of Slickville and numerous nieces and nephews.
