Pauline Marie (Novak) Howell

Pauline Marie Howell, 66 of Greensburg died Saturday February 21, 2026 in Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born October 21, 1959 in San Diego, CA a daughter of the late William and Pauline (Boyle) Novak.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years Greg Howell, four children Corey Howell (Tina), Daniel Howell (Jimbo), Jesse Howell (Courtney) and Amy Jo Baker (Mikey), five grandchildren Hunter Howell, Alannah Eberhardt, Lyla Howell, Sophia Baker and Carson Baker, three siblings Bill Novak, Frank Novak and Rose Compton and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter in law. No matter what life threw her way she was able to over come any challenge. She was a spitfire, who loved helping children and her work. She worked at Hills for 20 years, moving to Adelphoi for 15 years, and then wrapping up her career driving school bus for DMJ. She touched the lives of so many who had the privilege of knowing her. Most of all, she loved her family more than anything in the world.  A memorial will be held at a later date.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc.
