Raymond Griffin Obituary

Raymond "Ray" Griffin died peacefully at his home, Friday, July 3. 2020. He retired from Krogers and Frito Lay. Ray enjoyed his country living, spending time with his grandchildren, going on bus trips with his wife, listening to his extensive record collection and whistling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Regis F. and Bernice Griffin and a brother, Regis F. Griffin, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth (Sacunas) Griffin, daughters, Michelle (Joe) DeLuca of Unity Twp., Heather (Dave) Sargent of Penn Twp., and Gretchen (Darren) Krick of Penn Twp., grandchildren, Laura and Alex DeLuca, Griffin Krick and Brooke Sargent, a sister, Rosemary (Dwight) Goggans of Roswell, GA, and a special nephew, Mike (Tina) Quinn of Sutersville. There will be no public viewing. A private service will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans (dav.org) or Wreaths Across America (wreathsacrossamerica.org).
