Rebecca Cecelia Benson- Beaver, 70, of Jeannette died Wednesday July 31,2024 in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. She was born July 29,1954 in Washington DC, a daughter of Mary Belle (Dean) Benson and the late Edward H. Benson. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Benson. Rebecca was a math teacher at WCCC who loved flowers and spending time in her garden. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Larry Beaver of Jeannette and siblings Edward & Anisa Benson of Greensburg, Jennifer Dyer of Philadelphia, Mary and Jeffrey Zollinger of Myrtle Beach, SC, James Benson and Judy Caranesa of Jeannette, Sally and Mark Yemc of Murrysville and Joseph and Wendy Benson of Baltimore. Visitation will be held on Friday August 2nd from 4PM until the time of service at 8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
