Richard J. Constantine

Dr. Richard J. Constantine, 82, of Jeannette, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 28, 2021 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born December 1,1938 in Jeannette, a son of the late Gilbert and Amelia DiLorenzo Constantine. A graduate of Jeannette High School in 1958, he went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, class of 1963. Prior to his retirement, Rich was the owner and operator of Constantine Chiropractic in Jeannette and was also a veteran, serving in the National Guard. Rich was a man of great faith and was a member of Hempfield Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and was also a member of the ISDA. A devoted husband and father, he enjoyed fixing anything and time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his brothers Gilbert, Allen & Lawrence. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia of Jeannette; his children Amy Constantine Esq. and husband David Ritz of Pittsburgh, Cara Constantine and husband Jesse Baker of Eighty Four, and Dr. Emily Constantine -Mercurio and husband Matthew of Pittsburgh. Grandchildren Lucas Ritz, Alta and Lorenzo Mercurio; sister Dolores Fetzko and husband Donald and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will be welcoming friends on Tuesday February 2nd from 4PM until the time of service at 5PM at the Hempfield Church of Christ 144 Hugh Black Rd. Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to the church.
