Richard Edward Farroux

Richard Edward Farroux, 84, of Jeannette died Saturday July 27,2024 in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Twp. He was born May 14,1940 in Jeannette a son of the late Leon and Elizabeth (Grimes) Farroux. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 5 siblings Leon, William, Robert, Betty & Joan. Rich was retired from Consolidated Natural Gas as a pipeline worker, served in the US Navy and was a member of Assembly of God Church, Jeannette where he loved to sing. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years Betty Rebecca (Lukens) of Jeannette; his daughter Jennifer Farroux of Jeannette; nephew John Yost (Betsy) and great nephews Robert (Heather) and Eric Farroux. Richard was a loving and devoted family man who put his wife and daughter above all else. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 30th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor TJ Kroll. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
