Robert Allan Little

Robert Allan Little 92 of Greensburg passed away Sunday June 30, 2024 in Westmoreland Manor.  Bob was born September 23, 1931 in Grapeville, a son of the late Jacob and Catherine (Miller) Little.  He was an avid hunter and was very handy, having built three homes for his family.  Bob "peddled freight" for several trucking companies and was a policeman for Penn Township in his earlier years.  Bob would always greet you with a smile and want to know the latest details in your life.  He was a great "Pappy" to all who knew him.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Rita (Evans) Little in 1990, a sister Betty and a brother John.  He is survived by his second wife Marcia (Rinier) Little, children Linda Lovett (Scott) and Lorraine Matenkosky (Bob), grandchildren Eric Lovett (Courtney), Nicole Holland (Dave), stepchildren Jill Parise (Dave), Dave Matenkosky (Amy) and their children Paige, Luke and Mia Parise and Daniel and Megan Matenkosky.  The family would like to thank the entire staff at Westmoreland Manor for their compassionate care during Bob's time with them.  Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Tunnel to Towers @ T2T.org.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com .
