Robert F. Montgomery

Robert F. Montgomery 86 of Jeannette died Thursday March 25, 2021 in Excela Health Latrobe.  He was born February 25, 1935 in Bridgeport CT a son of the late Harold and Helen (Jucius) Montgomery.  Prior to retirement he was employed by WalMart and he was a veteran of the Korean War actively serving with the US Marine Corp then serving with the US Navy Reserves and US Army Reserves.  He was a member of the Ascension Church, American Legion Post 344 and the Polish Brotherhood of White Eagle all of Jeannette and loved going to the Casinos.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Linda, a son Joseph and a brother Harold.  He is survived by his loving wife Lucy (Petrillo) Montgomery, his children Beverly and her boyfriend Tom, Penny, Debbie and her fiancé Scott, Gino and his girlfriend Gina and Luann, 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends.  A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday May 10 at 11:00 AM in Ascension Church, Jeannette.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. entrusted with arrangements.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
