Robert J. Panigal Sr.

Robert J. Panigal Sr. 71 of Penn died Thursday October 19, 2023 in UPMC East.  He was born July 5, 1952 in Greensburg a son of the late John J. Panigal Sr. and Jeanne (McClain) Panigal.  Prior to retirement he was a Union Carpenter for Local 759 and he was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette and the Penn Volunteer Fire Department.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew Michael Tatarek II.  He is survived by his wife Beverly (Slack) Panigal, a daughter Renee Miller and her husband Donnie, a son Robert J. Panigal Jr. and his wife Lori, two grandchildren Paige Panigal (Dan) and Dominic Panigal, two great grandchildren Scarlett and Lizzy, his siblings; Karen Washek and her husband Larry, Diane Panigal, John Panigal Jr. and his wife Karen and Jeanne Anne Lavelle and her husband Jerry and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette with Fr. Job Foote as celebrant.  Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
