Rodney Lane Filkosky

Rodney Lane Filkosky 53 of Ruffs Dale died Monday May 7, 2018 at home.  He was born March 27, 1965 in Jeannette a son of Patricia (Craig) Filkosky Stawicki of North Huntingdon and the late Frank Peter Filkosky.  He was employed by Phillips Respironics as a Warehouse Tech and he was a former member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Larimer.  One of his greatest joys in life was fishing and cooking with hot spices.  He loved watching NASCAR races.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step father Eugene Stawicki, a sister in law Linda Filkosky, maternal grandparents Richard and Ruth Craig and paternal grandparents Frank and Mary Filkosky.  In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother Frank R. Filkosky of Altoona, a step brotherd Christopher Stawicki and his wife Kim of Delmont, a nephew Frank A. Filkosky, a niece Sabrina Filkosky and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  A memorial service will be held Saturday May 26 at 10:00 AM in Community United Methodist Church 3487 Route 130 Irwin, PA 15642 with Pastor John Ciampa officiating.  Interment will be private.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc.
