Ronald F. Dixon

Ronald F. Dixon 70 of Jeannette died Tuesday March 5, 2024 at home.  He was born October 8, 1953 in Greensburg a son of the late Lawrence L. Dixon Sr. and Rita (Dunn) Dixon.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the Elliott Company of Jeannette and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Jeannette American Legion SAL, Arlington Sportsmen's Club and the UKES.  Ron was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan and loved golfing, mowing the grass and spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Dixon.  He is survived by his wife Michelle (Bollinger) Dixon, two daughters Alycin Brown (Daryl) and Carly Dixon (Fiancé Michael), two grandchildren Conrad and Addy, his siblings; Lawrence Dixon Jr. (Fiancé Emily), Donna Ziegenfus (Jeff), Sheila Ramler, Mary Beth Wallace (Russ), Emily Christofano (Anthony) and Colleen Baden (Fiancé Rich) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Susan Luttner officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Jeannette American Legion SAL.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
