Shawn Michael Bernhardy

Shawn Michael Bernhardy,32, of Penn died November 6,2021. He was born January 17,1989 in Jeannette, a son of George Bernhardy of Adamsburg and Brenda Waugaman of Penn. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George "Red" Bernhardy and maternal grandmother Cass Waugaman. Shawn worked as a welder for Kinton Carbide and was an avid Steeler fan who loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings Beth Smith (David) of Greensburg, Amanda Bernhardy (Rob), of N.C. and George "Chaz" Bernhardy; paternal grandmother Sunny Nickles, maternal grandfather Curtis Waugaman, a niece Aaliyah, nephew David and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; dogs Max & Noel and Miss Kitty. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 10th from Noon until the time of service at 3pm in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
