Suzanne (Henderson) Boyd

Suzanne Boyd 81 of Jeannette passed away Friday April 8, 2022.  She was born November 22, 1940 in Shafton a daughter of the late Edward and Martha (Steiner) Henderson.  Prior to retirement she was a medical secretary at Monsour Medical Center and she was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Jeannette.  She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, computer games, church retreats and reading.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald S. Boyd, her sisters Barbara and Millie Henderson and Sarah Ruffner, her brothers Joseph and Thomas Henderson and a great grandson Nicodemus Boettner.  She is survived by her two daughters Denise Boettner (Al) and Teresa Matta (Dan), a son Theodore Boyd (Kim), her grandchildren Alicia, Noelle, Jeremy (Megan), Julia, George (Sara), Brendan, Ella and Luke, a great grandson Keith, a sister Elizabeth Greggerson and a brother Herbert Henderson (Carol) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor David Gilmore officiating.  Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
