Suzanne R. (Weatherford) Firment

Suzanne R. Firment 88 of Jeannette died Friday June 14, 2024 at home.  She was born March 3, 1936 in McKeesport a daughter of the late Samuel and Wilda (Barnes) Weatherford.  Prior to retirement she was a Registered Nurse/Utitlization Director at the former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and she previously was a traveling nurse for the Westmoreland County Society for Crippled Children and Adults.  She also was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Jeannette.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Schenone, her second husband Joseph A. "Red" Firment, two brothers Samuel and Arch Weatherford and a step son John Firment.  She is survived by her children David Schenone (Gail), Beth Schenone (Chris Harpel) and Michelle Jordan (Jim), her step children Joseph Firment Jr. (Karyn), Suzanne Courtney (Jim), Barbara Jean Firment, Sandra Gongaware (Robert), Craig Firment and Mark Firment and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N.
