William C. "Bill" Barker

William C. "Bill" Barker 95 of Lincoln Heights died Tuesday May 24, 2022 in UPMC Montefiore.  He was born July 24, 1926 in East McKeesport a son of the late Edward H. and Maybelle (Sigler) Barker and step father Gilbert Boor.  Prior to retirement he was employed by PAT Bus and formerly worked at Lincoln Coach Lines and Linway Auto Parts.  Bill was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy Seebees and he belonged to Jeannette American Legion Post 344, First Special Seebees reunion.  He also was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Delmont, Lincoln Heights Community Association and PAT retirees.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Highlands) Barker and a brother John E. Barker.  Bill is survived by his children Candy Barker, Randy Barker (Lisa) and Scott Barker (Mary Jo), four grandchildren Brittany (Steve), Samantha, Cassandra (Jordan) and Chad, two great grandchildren Riley and Avery, a sister Florence Barker and numerous nieces and nephews.  He loved his family, country, neighbors and church communities.  Friends will be received Monday from 3-7 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Additional viewing will be Tuesday from 9:00 AM till time of service at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev.
