William G. Bauerschmidt 73 of Jeannette died Thursday February 4, 2021 at home. He was born July 1, 1947 in McKeesport a son of the late William G. Bauerschmidt Sr. and Charlotte M. (Lehnhardt) Bauerschmidt. William was a veteran of the Vietnam War proudly serving with the US Air Force. He was employed by U.S. Steel until his retirement. He lived his life on his own terms and followed the motto "with honor and pride". William enjoyed watching history documentaries and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Mary (Birchall) Bauerschmidt. He is survived by his sisters Charlotte Heller of North Huntingdon, Barbara Ritter of York and Toni McKeever of Irwin, his daughters Tammi Jones and husband Ricci of Grapeville and Toni Bauerschmidt-Uncapher and husband Donald of Jeannette, his grandchildren Casey, Kaitlyn and Andrew Jones of Grapeville and Charlotte, Rhyse and Ashley Uncapher of Jeannette and Kendall Wood of Tucson, AZ, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
