Zain E. Harter, Jr.

Zain E. Harter, Jr. 65, of Jeannette passed away Wednesday February 16,2022 unexpectedly at his home. He was born January 18, 1957 in Philipsburg, PA son of the late Zain Sr. and Janet (Shimmel) Harter. Prior to his January retirement he was employed by Tooling Specialists Inc in Latrobe, Pa. He enjoyed camping at Big Bear Lake in West Virginia and he hoped to spend his retirement working with the grounds crew. He is survived by his daughters Jade (Mike) Dreistadt and Faith Harter; sister Anna (Bob) Sturgess; his little buddy and grandson Brantley Stumpf; grandson Blake Dreistadt as well as Ethan Waldenville his camping buddy. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 19th from Noon until 4PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
