Ann M. (Annie) Shrum, 80, of Jeannette died Monday August 15, 2016 at home. She was born October 13, 1935 in Penn, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Krause) Rogan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters Agnes, Vivian, and Janet and her inlaws Cyrus and Violet Shrum. Ann was a very active member of Word of Life Church, Hempfield and enjoyed traveling with friends, reading, crossword puzzles, gardening and most of all her grandchildren especially their family vacations. She is survived by her husband John J. Shrum of Jeannette; daughter Debra Avolio of Ligonier, sons Jay and his wife Donna of Jeannette, Kirk of Jeannette and Keith of Greensburg. 10 grandchildren David, Kelly and her husband Adam, Tiffany, Jeremy, Briana, Matthew, Craig, Brad, Colin and Kyra. 8 great granchildren Sydney, Brockson, Anthony, Elizabeth, Owen, Aubre, Landon and Bailee. Brother Wayne Rogan of Grapeville and a sister Gertrude Lyons of Derry and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, INC. 201 N. First ST. Jeannette PA 15644 on Wednesday from 6-8PM. Additional visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service at 10am in Word of Life Church, Hempfield. EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the church to be used toward mission work.
