Joseph Patrick Burgman, Sr.54 of Virginia Beach, VA died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born April 4, 1962 in McKeesport, a son of Rita Shadler McCready of Greensburg and the late George Burgman.  Joseph retired from the US Navy and was currently delivering papers for the Virginia Pilot.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard W. "Doc" McCready, and a step-brother, Richard McCready, Jr.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Faith Anderson Burgman of Virginia Beach, a son, Joseph Patrick Burgman, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Virginia Beach, two grandchildren, Joseph III and Ashley, siblings; Sharon Young and her husband Don of Youngwood, Georgia Horgos and her husband Robert of Greensburg, Denny McCready of Jeannette, Sandra Biedrycki and her husband John of Adamsburg, Geri Gwillim of Jeannette, Tim McCready of Youngwood, and Rita Mahinske and her husband Rod of North Huntingdon and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends are invited to visit Thursday from 6:30 pm until time of service at 7:30 pm in the Christ United Methodist Church, 100 Lincoln St., Youngwood.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.  MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC. in charge of arrangements.
