Charles Brant, 78, of Delmont, formerly of Jeannette, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at home. Charles was the son of the late Paul and Edna (Hemminger) Brant of Penn.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Vacha and siblings; Jerry, George, and Paul Brant, Sarah Parsons, and Nancy Bozich.  He will be sadly missed by his wife Carol Ann Smith Brant of Delmont and five children; Debbie Brant of Greensburg, Randy Brant (Christine)of Laurel, MD, Chuckie Brant of Indiana, PA, Kim Young (Matt) of Export and John Dorff (Lisa) of Jeannette, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchilren siblings, Elmer Brant (Diane) of Harrison City,  Raymond Brant of Penn and Mildred Gehrke of Meadowlands and numerous nieces and nephews.   He had previously been employed by Norwin Tire.  He was a lifetime member of Penn Rod and Gun Club and a member of F.O.E. in Jeannette. A memorial service will be held in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N.
