James M. King, 72, of Irwin died Tuesday September 27,2016 at home. He was born October 18,1943 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Arthur and Lillian (Dennison) King. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Robert King. Prior to retirement he worked as the Fleet Director for Delallos, Jeannette. Jim was a US Marine and a member of the AmVets, Claridge and Youngsville American Legion, active in Scouts and loved fishing at his camp in Tidioute, PA and also a member of St. Edward Parish, Hermine. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Dianne (Smith) King, daughters Pam King and Norman Zoeller of Pittsburgh, Kathy King and Ken Powell of Irwin, and Chris King of Jeannette. Granddaughter Lizzy King of Irwin; Sister Patti Schiegg and Bill of Tidioute; sister in law Mary-Alice King; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as his beloved companions Shasta and Linus. Visitation will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. The Jeannette Combined Veterans will hold a military service at 7PM.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10am in St. Edward Parish, Hermine.
