Marion G. Wakal, 86 of Jeannette, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in RNC of Greater Pittsburgh.  He was born October 21, 1930 in Knox, IN, a son of the late Harry and Mary Bach Wakal.  Prior to retirement he worked as a District Manager of Sales at Royston Jaguar.  He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.  He was a member of Penn Zion Lutheran Church, Harrison City, Police Rod and Gun Club, Lincoln Heights Sportsmen and Irwin Sportsmen.  He was an avid gardener and hunter.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings; Andrew, Joseph, Harry and his twin William Wakal and Olga Wagner.  He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Janet Mohrmann Wakal, three children, Eileen Wakal of SC, Ken Wakal and his wife Katie of Jeannette and Laurel Wakal of Jeannette, a brother, Russell Wakal and his wife Kit of Canada and numerous nieces and nephews.  Respecting Marion's wishes, there will be no visiting or services.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.  MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., in charge of arrangements.
